FY 2018 Artist Initiative Grant

This year I was awarded with an Artist Initiative Grant from the Minnesota State Arts Board. With the funds awarded to me I will research and test clay and glaze materials suitable for creating large scale ceramic sculpture. The 14 large sculptures will be exhibited throughout Minnesota during the grant cycle. Venues include Silverwood Park in St. Anthony, Art Reach St Croix in Stillwater, Raymond Avenue Gallery in Saint Paul, and at my home and studio during the St Croix Valley Pottery Tour. A portion of the finished works will be photographed by Peter Lee for usage on my website and Percent for the Arts profile. I will also give a presentation about the grant project to the ceramics department at Bemidji State University.
